Before You Call Us . . . .
Make certain you are running the most current version of Tenant Pro 7. To verify current release information, or to download the current release, Click Here.
- Make sure you have your registered telephone number ready.
- Make sure you have properly installed the software.
- Back-up your data file(s).
- Check to see that your hardware meets the minimum system requirements as outlined in
Chapter 1, Introduction to TENANT PRO, in the User Manual.
- Be sure you are at your computer with Tenant Pro open.
- The support specialist can help you best if you're ready to step through the sequence that led to the problem. For example, if you encountered a problem setting up a property, try to remember the windows you opened,
which windows you still have opened, and the tasks you did prior to entering the property.
- Know exactly what you did before the problem occurred, and the exact wording of any message
appearing on the screen.
- Know your system. In some cases, the following information is relevant to your problem.
- Have it ready when you call:
- Computer Type
- Amount of Memory (RAM)
- Hard Drive space availability
- Network configuration and version
- Service Release date
- Network configuration and version
- Have a pencil and paper handy to take notes
