Mansfield Property Management: An American Dream

Six years ago, their dream began. Steve and Rexanne Mansfield started their new property management business. They purchased a twenty-unit property, worked out of their home, and performed all the property maintenance on their own. Today, they are living the American Dream. They have 10 multi-family properties, 38 employees, a corporate office, and they are expanding into commercial real estate with their first acquisition. What made the difference?

When Steve and Rexanne purchased their second property, they decided it was time to implement a property management software solution. In turn, they would then enter the faxed information into Tenant Pro. Not long after that, Mansfield Property Management acquired their fifth property. Steve and Rexanne decided to upgrade their Tenant Pro software, implementing a Wide Area Network (WAN) using Terminal Server. This allowed their site managers to access Tenant Pro remotely through their Internet connection. All information at the remote sites could be directly entered into Tenant Pro streamlining the data entry process and eliminating unnecessary faxing. This made all of their processes more efficient. "If I didn't have Tenant Pro, it would take 3 people to do what I handle every day," states Rexanne Mansfield. Today, Mansfield Property Management is successfully using the wide area networked version of Tenant Pro with 8 users, 4 corporate office users and 4 remote site users, to manage more than 900 leases.
